Pronovost snowblower is ready to blow snow in Waterloo!

For many of our customers, one of their main concerns relating to snow plowing in the Kitchener Waterloo area is the height of the snow banks. Snow banks continue to grow over the course of the winter season and can make visibility difficult for vehicles. In order to maximize visibility and keep people safe, it is necessary to blow back snow banks to remove the snow piles.
Most of our customers have a 2 -meter maximum for snow bank height, once this height is reached we automatically dispatch a tractor and snowblower to remove the snow banks from all properties in Kitchener Waterloo.

Snowblowing is also used in parking lots that don’t have a lot of space. Removing snow banks opens additional parking spaces that are lost when traditional snow plowing techniques continue to push snow into the same corner all season long. Snowblowing with a tractor also avoids the cost of having to haul snow off site and pay for dump fees.

This season, we purchased a second tractor snowblower. We went with a Pronovost P-1040 from a manufacturer located in Quebec. We are excited to see this new snowblower in action! Videos to follow as soon as we have enough snow to blow!

First snow plow event in Kitchener Waterloo for the 2016-2017 season

Last night was the official kick-off to the winter season with the first complete snow plow and salt of all of our properties in Kitchener Waterloo. The snow accumulation in Waterloo was heavy but our fleet of John Deere and Kubota tractors made easy work of the task. All snow plowing in Kitchener and all snow plowing in Waterloo was completed by 7:15 a.m. Everything was completed ahead of schedule and without any issues.

It was an excellent start to snow plowing season in Kitchener Waterloo and I’m confident that our routes will run even more smoothly as the season progress.
Way to go guys!
